I just realized that it's good to hold on to what you believe in
but when you hold on to your beliefs too much, it turns into a scenario where you act the victim about everything--which is considered a bad thing

If someone said that you're hurting them
Comfort them in the best way you know how

Don't just go to someone else to talk to them about it and get comfort for yourself and yourself alone.

It's not fair to the person who is truly hurt because you don't really need that sympathy as much. You just forced your way into getting it so that you wouldn't have to feel as guilty. But then again, guess you weren't even that guilty in the first place since you didn't even bother to fix things and decided to help yourself first...
