Music from my country

Such a long time couldn't find good music made by Vietnamese composers.

And then, my friend posted this song in his blog,

Actually, I'm a little bit disappointed when listening to the Vietnamese version. The Melody's still great but I don't like the lyric. In my opinion, it's better if the composer put all his feeling in both music and lyric. And, I'm really really love the English lyric.

Most favorite part is when he sang "And I dammed if I do, shamed if I don't..Yeah .I'm forbidden, yes forbidden to say that I love you". And in Vietnamese lyric, my favorite part was turned into a meaningless sentence TT___TT!!! May be that's the reason why I don't like it.

Perhaps, I'm a little strict when hearing people sing in my mother tongue. Because I say Vietnamese and hear Vietnamese everyday, it stays close to my heart. I don't remember where I read that, but someone said that mother tongue is closer to your heart than a foreign language. I think it's right.

Hope that in future, the composers would pay more attention to the lyric for their songs.

And I'm happy to wait for more of this beautiful music, like "I'm forbidden"
