If you only wish to see the new rules / updates, please just read the General Clan Rules (Revised) below; you may skip the other stuff.
First and foremost, big congratulations to our member (and very amazing Elder) FrizFroz for reaching the Legend League! A huge feat for KPN! 。:.゚ヽ(´∀`。)ノ゚.:。+゚
Well, I finally (finally) got a new phone. Yes, a new one! As in, not one that was handed down from my dad to me. After 19 years of living, I finally got a brand new phone that has never been touched by anyone else (well, of course, except for the manufacturers). The screen is a lot bigger than my old screen, so I'm going to attempt attacking with the phone so that I can attack anywhere instead of having to carry a bulky tablet around. (ノω・、)
So this new thing called Clan Games came out a few weeks ago, and I think it was a nice idea of Supercell to include these, especially for clan members who are busy or do not want to participate in clan wars (although it would be nice for them to join in at least one war, I do think). Clan wars, for me, are a great way to improve attack strategies as well as earn massive loot; however, I don't find war to be something that is considered "fun;" it's fun in its own way, but it can be a little stressful too.
I'm really hoping everyone will try out the clan games and give them a chance. I am going to make it so that the clan can reap nice benefits and prizes through teamwork, but also so that the members of our clan can have fun outside of their usual loot gathering.
As for the leadership position, I've been slacking off in my job and I plan to take this position. More seriously this year. But since school is definitely going to be a lot harder this semester, I'm going to make the effort of not throwing away this position entirely but but put putting in the effort to maintain the leadership role as well as maintaining the clan.
I have appreciate their coming to the clan, but they are inactive and I feel like I have either failed in making the clan a fun place or that people are just. .. growing up and doing adult things (called 'work').
So, for 2018, I'm probably going to enforce / stricter / rules (meaning that I will check donation ratios frequently), but still be lenient enough so that this does not some sort of dictatorship. I wanna be a fun king (^ o ^;).
So here I bring to you ... the clan rules.
There are 10 rules, and they are fairly easy to follow. Please be sure to read them carefully.
General Clan Rules (Revised)
- All members must donate at least 60 troops per season. (Wizards and Archers are the default donations, so if you do not have anything to donate, you may donate to requests that do not have special instructions).
- All members are expected to participate in Clan Games and grab at least 100 points.
- [War is not mandatory, but those who enlist in war (and use both attacks) will be exempt from the Clan Games rule (Rule # 2). [War participants are allowed to participate in Clan Games but are not forced to reach 100 points, only that would be appreciated.]
- Those in war must use both attacks. Failure to do so will result in being warned the first time, and then removed from war if it happens a second time (As of 4 Jan. 2018, there is only one excused player in the clan who acts as a placeholder, and they already know who they are.).
- Players who are removed from war are expected to opt themselves out (turn their war button from green to red). Failure to do so will result in a kick.
- Players removed from war are allowed to rejoin war by asking in the clan chat to do so.
- Players who rejoin war but do not do both attacks will be will kicked from the clan. No excuses are allowed.
- The leader and co-leaders will have a discussion related electing another elder.
- I want active members who attack and gain trophies! Badgeless members will be kicked after a season, even if they donate troops.
- The chat is PG; please do not use foul language in the chat. There are / some very / young members in Any hostility should be kept outside of the clan chat and if possible, resolved with benefits for both ends.
