Few days ago, I had to be going to work tomorrow dinner time, but yesterday when I look at our working schedule, my work schedule which is tomorrow dinner was erased by my boss. So I assumed that I don’t need to work tomorrow, It’s my day off. And also miki (coworker) hadn’t be going to work tomorrow dinner, because her tomorrow dinner time work schedule was empty. So we are going to have dinner time off. However today’s evening I got a call from Miki. She told me that one of us has to work tomorrow.
But I said ‘ Id love to work, but I already have appointment so I cant work.’ And miki said same thing. And I hang up.but few min later she called me again. she told me that our boss said like’what!? Nobody can work, who works??? One of you guys has to work tomorrow!’ so I was really upset, because its not our fault.because of him. He didn’t figure out the schedule properly. That’s why it happened.
I said to miki like ‘ no, we don’t need to work. Its his fault’ but she said ‘ well, what can you do? anyway one of us has to work, but I don’t wanna work because if I work tomorrow I wont be able to have day off until 2 weeks ahead. But if you cant work tomorrow, I will work.’
I was really upset. Because we don’t need to work! But miki think anyway one of us has to work. maybe she thinks because they hire us even though we cant speak English well, so we have to appreciate that. So we need to be patient. We don’t have choice. But I’m wondering is that really true? Of course I appreciate that they hired me…but…
Anyway, im going to work tomorrow because I don’t wanna miki to work tomorrow it gonna be too much work for her. Im still not convinced thouth.
