How to understand fishing event
Hi, there! There were many fishing events recently, and I found that most of foreigners don't understand well about the event...
So, here I tell you how to get information of fishing event.
1. Subscribe official fishing blog
First, go to http://ameblo.jp/pigg-fishing/
This is official fishing blog. On the top of blog, you will see
Click "このブログの読者になる(チェック)".
Then, you will see another page as bellow.
Just click gray icon, "読者に登録". Then you become a reader of official fishing blog.
2. How to know the event location & terget fish
If event is Ippei's quest, you will see his face and target fish photos on the top of blog.
So, you know the target, but how do you know where the area is?
There are 6 regular areas as;
日本海: Nihon-kai - Fishing boat
小笠原: Ogasawara - Port
石狩川: Ishikari-gawa - River
印旛沼: Inba-numa - Marsh
アマゾン川 :Amazon-gawa - Amazon river
琵琶湖: Biwa-ko - Lake
So, you will find one of those area's name in article. In the photo above, you can find area name, "小笠原" in pink. But after the word, you may also find word "西灯台 (中級)".
You don't have to care about "西灯台", but you have to check the word as (XX級).
Some areas have categories as below.
(初級): Beginners
(中級): Intermidiate
(上級): Advanced
(超上級): Super Advanced
Sometimes, they indicate the area as bellow.
3. Reccommended Bait
Under target fish photo, they write
"おすすめえさ：ねりえさ". "おすすめえさ" means "Bait, recommended".
There are 6 kinds of regular bait.
しょぼいえさ: Cheapest paste bait (you started with 9999 of them)
ミミズ、みみず: Worm
ネリエサ、ねりえさ: paste
オキアミ、おきあみ: Krill (like Shrimp)
貝: Shell
こざかな、小魚: Small Fish
So, for "シイラ" (AKA "mahi mahi" in Hawaii), paste bait was recommended.
4. How to confirm the event term
At the beginning of article, you will find indication as bellow.
"2012年" means "year 2012".
"10月" means "October = 10th month".
"29日" means "date 29th"
"(月)" means "Monday"
And time indicated on the blog is Japan Time. Not GMT, not your country's time.
1 ～ 12 numbers with "月" indicates "month".
1 ～ 31 numbers with "日" indicates "date".
But those 2 Chinese Charactors are also used to indicate day of the week
(日): Sunday
(月): Monday
(火): Tuesday
(水): Wednesday
(木): Thursday
(金): Friday
(土): Saturday
Also, as you may already know, in most of event, they have advanced bonus.

How to get 1AG, every day

If you are still beginner, Back rods will be better?
For Bait Can A: No matter how much skill you have, I recommend you to use Green, the best rod at this moment.
As same as Ryugu area, Red & Purple have items, and you may not want to miss any of them.
Because this bait is free, your cost with Green bait each throw is only 63P.
And the cheapest fish hit to this bait is Koban-aji (so far).
Therefore, I recommend you to equip Green rods.

So, my recommendation is to save them until you get "Bakucho" (Pink) time. But when you have fewer time remind, you should use them even not in "Bakucho" (Pink) time, as Atsu-maru (Silver) disappears after the period.
Also, 1 of them, Ma-dai always gives you Atsu-maru, or Super Atsu-maru.
