Rookie defensive players and Mike Tomlin just don
It took nearly 100 regular season games for Tomlin to trust a rookie to start and that was Jarvis Jones Week 2 in Cincinnati a year ago. Vince Williams followed suit because of chiefsnflofficialauthentic.com/authentic-dee-ford-jersey.html necessity and the same went with Terrence Garvin a rookie tryout just months before.
Now, a big reason why rookie defenders haven been able to crack the starting lineup for Tomlin hasn been because he been bull headed as much as the defense was pretty set with a cast of veteran stars. Still, as those stars got older and eventually left, rookies still didn fill the holes.
That very well could all change this year with the selections of Ryan Shazier and Stephon Tuitt the Steelers first two draft picks. The two don only have a high pedigree and played a lot at big time colleges, but are coming into a situation where there is need inside linebacker and defensive end.

how about Colbert AWFUL drafts missed playoffs yet still has a JOB. Wish the Rooney would grow a pair Send him to early retirement like Arians. Colbert 14 yrs has become STALE. When a team depends almost SOLELY on draft signs Fringe FA like the Steelers do, you can MISS on so many DRAFTS like Colbert has.

Bro he missed on two drafts the 08 and 09. If chiefsnflofficialauthentic.com/authentic-phillip-gaines-jersey.html you think being 8 and 8 is so terrible try rooting for another team. The NFL punishes success and there is a huge difference in talent between the 10th spot and 23 or 31.

should have been packing three years ago!! football has passed him by!! also the salary cap guru they depend on would have made a great threesome and why stop there, whom ever makes the final decision on when to let a player move on to his lifes calling instead of playing till it time for social security to kick in should have joined the three!! then you might see another run of success!
