We went to Tkenoya which was intoroduced
as Mr.Tarou Hatoyama's most favorite restaurant
in the TV program " Motemote99(click here)"
This is a very famous restaurant
specializing in carp dishes.
It was founded 99 years ago.
We can appreciate the quaint vintage atomosphere.
and beautiful Chikuma river from the window.
This decoration was based on the calligraphy
by Mr.Ichirou Hatoyama.
The incumbent old clock and picture of Okamura-san.
Kogomi-one of edible wild plants.
At first the fried minnow(haya) was served .
It was very cripy, and even its bone was eatable.
The next was sweet and salty carp.
It was glazed and tasty 
After that minnow tempura over rice came.
The tempura was also crispy and sauce was delicious.
The last was miso soup with carp.
There was a whole piece of carp
with just enough fat in the soup.
These dishes gave me a lot of satisfaction.
I understood the reason
why Tarou-chan loved this restaurant.

in the corridor

because I'm sensitive to such brand names・・・・.
But the prices for these dishes weren't so high.
Each dish costs about 900 yen.
I recommend you to visit here
during winter when it is not crowded.
