Social Media has made a positive impact on our lives

Recently, Social Media has developed rapidly and its potential is unlimited yet. Therefore, our lives became easier and more efficient than decades years and will not stop developing its potential. We use Social Media dairy and now that it is a part of our lives such as communication opportunities and learning tools that have positive impact on our lives.
We use Social Media as communication opportunities like Facebook, Skype or LINE. These communication opportunities make our connection among the people in the world faster and easier. Actually, many adolescents have their favorite social media sites now and communicate each other, logging to them about 10 times a day (O’Keeffe, Clarke-Pearson, Council on communication and Media 2011). They use Social Media as a part of their lives and need them for the good connection or relationship with their classmates, friends and family. For example, we can expand the communication through the shared photo or image and our showed idea or opinion in Facebook (O’Keeffe, Clarke-Pearson, Council on communication and Media 2011). We don’t need the special place or time for local and national communication. Moreover, some social media allows us to connect the people in the world for free like Skype. It is very good for our lives to use such a useful social media. Now that we just rely on them dairy and know that they are very useful on our lives.
Also we use Social Media as learning tools like Facebook. Now, more than 500 million users use Facebook and one of the reasons of this situation is that its performance expanded not only communication but also learning (Fewkes, McCabe, 2012). Therefore, we can use Facebook as the place to conduct the project, group work, collaboration with the classmates, for example, the challenge of using Web 2.0 technology (Fewkes, McCabe 2012). By using these tools, we can understand more and enhance our knowledge each other. Moreover the benefit of using Social Media for learning is that we can conduct group work or something with the classmates out of the class, so we can do such a work in own house, outside or even in overseas. According to these useful Social Media, Social Media as learning tools is used by many people who are adolescents, the student, or worker. It is very useful for them to use such learning tools because they can collaborate even if they are not in the same place.
In conclusion, using Social Media as communication opportunities and learning tools makes our lives easier and more efficient. In terms of Social Media as communication opportunities, we can connect the people in the world fast and easy and we can expand communication through sharing image or idea, so it is very useful. Likewise, Social Media as learning tools are useful to have the opportunities to conduct group work with the people in the world, so we can collaborate anytime and anywhere. That is why, Social Media has made a positive impact on our lives and we use it as a part of our lives.
