Often times, increasing short term debt or rising accounts payable can look like growth when in fact this is unsustainable growth over the long run. While I am somewhat impressed with AMZN bulls an understand the Amazon bull case, I also have to look timberland splitrock at the PE ratio and price to book ratios and ask whether or not bulls are falling victim to the same "internet boom" fallacy that grabbed the investment community by the horns in the late 1990's. At 130X earnings, my feeling is that Amazon makes for a better short than a long, but right now I have no position in the name..
