Here’s a clear, step-by-step online application guideline for getting an NBI Clearance (Philippines) — from booking your appointment to attending your scheduled visit:

📌 1. Create Your NBI Online Account

  • Go to the official NBI Clearance website and register a new account.

  • Use a valid email address and mobile number — you’ll need them for verification.

  • If you’re a first-time job seeker, use the dedicated portal for first-timers.

  • Verify your phone number via the code sent to you before proceeding. NBI Appointment

📋 2. Fill Out the Online Application Form

  • Complete your personal details accurately: full name (as in your ID), address, birthdate, etc.

  • Choose the type of valid ID(s) you’ll bring to your appointment (e.g., Passport, National ID, Driver’s License).

  • Double-check for typos — incorrect information can delay your application.

📅 3. Schedule Your Appointment

  • After saving your details, you’ll be asked to select a branch and choose an available date and time slot for your appointment.

  • Slots can fill up quickly, so it’s best to book at least 1–2 weeks ahead.

  • Once selected, confirm your appointment online. NBI Appointment+1

💳 4. Pay the NBI Clearance Fee

  • After scheduling, choose a payment method. Common options include:

    • GCash or Maya mobile payments

    • 7-Eleven / CliQQ outlets

    • Bayad Center or partner remittance shops

    • Online banking or debit/credit cards

  • The standard clearance fee is about ₱130, plus a small service or system charge depending on the channel.

  • Keep your payment reference number and receipt — you’ll need them on your appointment day.

📄 5. Prepare Required Documents

Bring the following to your scheduled NBI branch:
✔ Your appointment confirmation or reference number (printout or mobile screenshot)
Original valid ID(s) you selected during your application
Payment receipt or reference number
(Wearing presentable attire is also recommended for easy entry.)

🧑‍💼 6. Attend Your Appointment

On the day:

  • Arrive at least 15–30 minutes early.

  • Go through document verification and then biometrics capture (photo, fingerprints, signature).

  • If everything checks out and there’s no “HIT” on your record, you may receive your clearance the same day.

  • A “HIT” (name match with existing record) means you’ll return after further verification (typically several days later).

🔁 7. What If You Miss Your Appointment

  • If you miss your exact date after payment, you often have a grace period (about 15 days) to go to the same branch with your reference number. If you miss the grace period, you may need to apply again and book a new appointment. NBI Clearance Online
