「Fiddler on the Roof」
これもまた古い映画で
正直、見る前はおもしろいの？と疑ってました。
でも、実際見てみると・・・よかったです！
このストーリー自体はユダヤ教の迫害とか絡んでいて
暗いものでもあるんですが・・・そのはずなんだけど・・・
主人公のお父さんがいい！
奥さんに対して強く出るのに、結局押されて負ける。笑
（特にミシンを”俺は今見たいんだ！”っていうシーンｗ）
映画の途中途中でクスっと笑ってしまいますﾍ(ﾟ∀ﾟ*)ﾉ
映画の中で主人公のお父さんはよく神様に話しかけます。
特に私的に面白かったのが
5人娘の中の3人娘による人生の決断を迫られた時のお父さんのセリフ。
この悩み方・・・私も今度使える時がきたら使って見ようかと思ってますｗ(・∀・)
＜長女の場合＞気の弱い恋人が意を決して結婚したいことを伝える
恋人：But even a poor tailor is entitled to some hapiness!
I promise you, your daughter will not starve.
と言ったのに対して・・・
He's beginning to talk like a man.
On the other hand what kind of a match would that be with a poor tailor?
On the other hand, he is an honest, hard worker.
But on the other hand he has absolutely nothing.
On the other hand, things could never get worse for him.
They could only get better. They gave each other a pledge.
Unheard of, absurd... They gave each other a pledge.
Unthinkable.
But look at my daughter's face.
She loves him. She wants him.
And look at my daughter's eyes.
So hopeful.
と考え、結婚を許すのですが
この後にお父さん重大なことに気づきます。
奥さんになんて伝えようと・・・←この伝えるシーンのお父さんもおもろいｗ
＜次女の場合＞革命を夢見る恋人との結婚の意思を伝える（欲しいのは許しではなく祝福）
He loves her. Love.
It's a new style.
On the other hand, our old ways were once new, weren't they?
On the other hand, they decided without parents...without the matchmaker!
On the other hand, did Adam and Eve have a matchmaker?
Yes, they did. And it seems these two have the same matchmaker.
They're going over my head. Unheard of. Absurd!
For this, they want to be blessed. Unthinkable.
I'll lock her up in her room. I couldn't. I should.
But look at my daughter's eyes.
She loves him.
父親が決めた相手との結婚が当たり前の時代だからこそ
愛での結婚が新しいんですね。
ちなみに、このことを奥さんに伝えるシーンもつい笑ってしまいますｗ
＜三女の場合＞ユダヤ教徒ではない恋人と結婚したことを伝えようとするが・・・
Accept them?
How can I accept them?
Can I deny everthing I believe in?
On the other hand, can I deny my own daughter?
On the other hand, how can I turn my back on my faith?
My people?
If i try and bend that far, I'll break.

There is no other hand!三女に対してはキツイですが（ラストで・・・ちょこっとあるんですがあえて書きません）、
なんだかんだで全ての娘を愛していて
その幸せを願うお父さん・・・いいぱぱんなんです( ´艸｀)
ちなみに・・・
悩む前にお父さんが必ず
『Tradition』
と叫びます。
（辞書：伝統・習慣・しきたり）
時代の変化への葛藤ってやつですね・・・ヽ(ﾟ◇ﾟ )ﾉ
