Life has slowed down. Baths, giggles, smiles, sounds, touches, hugs, snuggles, sunlight, walks, stories- everyday and everything is new to him- and has become new to me. This simplicity-this joy-this juicy unknowing-this is it. I woke before dawn, as I often do now, I looked at my simple sanctuary- a muddy, snoring Labrador, a husband dreaming, and the smallest little soul cooing on my chest. “Oh,” I thought, “this is why people pray-this is where the goddess/god lives. *This* is Eden.” We are slowly coming out of our cocoon- forgive us if we’ve been absent - we will return those texts and voicemails and emails. We have felt your 💕. 🙏.
