Hey guys!
My name is Charlie and I am a 17 year-old high school student (junior year) living in the heart of Silicon Valley in the United States. Just as a quick background: I was born in Tokyo, moved to Shanghai at the age of 6 where I attended British International School from Year 1 to Year 5, moved back to Tokyo for a few years of elementary and middle school, and now I am here in Los Altos, California since 7th grade. (Boy, that was hard to fit into one sentence!). I'm starting this blog mainly because I made a deal with my parents to get me a new MacBook Pro, but also because I love to write. On here, I'll be discussing interesting cultural findings from an international perspective.

カリフォルニア州のシリコンバレーに住んでいる１７歳の高校生です。
東京生まれで６歳の時に上海に引越して、イギリスのインターナショナルスクールに通いました。５年生から中１までは東京で日本の学校に通いました。が、その後今度はカリフォルニアに引越しとなり、今はカリフォルニアのロスアルトスという田舎で高校３年生をしています（ちなみにアメリカの高校は４年間なのです！）。
このブログを始めるという事で新しい2016年の Macbook Pro を買ってもらったので、今日から早速はじめます。
面白いインターナショナルなニュースや話題を見つけてバイリンガルで書いていきたいと思います。
