I went to an exhibition of chocolate with my friend about one week ago. 

The exhibition will be held in Ueno until February 24,2013. 
It is said that 200,000 people already have visited the exhibition. 

I could know the history and manufacturing process of chocolate, a characteristic of cacao, and so on in there. 

I recommend you to visit the exhibition and check those things. 

I think you'll certainly get interesting information about chocolate.

My friend and I went to a cafe after visiting the exhibition. 

I ordered a piece of chocolate cake from a server in there.

It is said that the tropical rain forests with cacao are decreasing now.
So I think chocolate is precious. 
I hope that alleviating poverty of cacao farmers and forest conservation are compatible with each other for sustainable society.

 

precious time

The other day, I called on my grandmother to the new year's greeting. 

I got a New Year's present from my grandmother. 

It was the last opportunity in my life. I really felt that I grew up. And I felt that I have to support my family in the near future.

I paid a visit to a shrine with my mother and my grandmother.

There were some steep stairs along the way to the main shrine. My grandmother went up as she held my mother's arm. I was worried about her health.

After paying a visit and having dinner, we went home. There was a pedestrian crossing while going home. My grandmother walked across the road as she held my arm. Though I was glad to be depended on from my grandmother, I felt sorrow because I perceived that I and she couldn't be together for a long time.

I hope my grandmother will live a long, healthy life.
