Seabol Taken Off Active Roster

Scott Seabol was taken off the 28-man active roster on Monday.
He has struggled recently, batting .251 with 10 homers.

Mike Schultz was taken off the active roster on August 30, and the Carp can add him to active roster after this Tuesday.

The Carp beat the Giants 2-5 at Osaka Dome on Tuesday.
Starter Coby Lewis(13-5) pitched strong seven innings allowing one run on six hits.
Jim Brower relieved Lewis and threw a scoreless inning.

Inflammation of right shoulder

According to papers, Mike Schultz was taken off the active roster with right shoulder inflammation.
The shoulder inflammation was not serious and will heal completely in less than a week.
