The Carp lost to the Tokyo Swallows 3-8 at Jingu Stadium on Friday.
Starter Ben Kozlowski pitched five strong innings, and allowed two runs on six hits and three walks.

Tanaka grounded out to first, Aoki went to third and Hatakeyama to second.
Aoki scored on a wild pitch.
Iihara tripled to center, and Hatakeyama scored.
Umetsu relieved for Schultz.

Swallows officials said Friday that they were about to sign Sean Douglass, who played for the Carp in 2006-07.

The Carp lost to the Yokohama Baystars 0-4 at Yokohama Stadium on Wednesday.

The Carp beat the Tigers 1-0 on Saturday.
Starter Ben Kozlowski(1-0) hurled 5 2/3 shutout innings, and got his first win.
He allowed three hits with five struck out and one walk.

On Sunday, the Carp lost to the Tigers 2-5.
Mike Schultz(1-3) gave up three runs on three hits and two walks in eighth inning, and took the loss.

Colby Lewis is going to be added to the active roaster in this week.
