There are apparently many, many emails that I have sent over the years with the same subject line. Outlook has decided that they are all part of one conversation, never mind that they share no recipients nor senders (except me) & took place months apart.
There have been other posts to the effect that you cannot extricate some of the messages without changing the subject line (which seems asinine & time-consuming). So I would dearly like to simply turn this 'feature' off, but cannot figure out how.

Click the contact or group you want to see the conversation history for. Your instant messages and call history with that contact or group are displayed in the main window. • To see your older conversations, go to the sidebar and click History. • If you can't see the person or group you're looking for, type the name into the Search box.
