9. 現在完了進行形

A. It's been raining

現在完了進行形は最近止まったこともしくはちょうど止まったことを表す活動のこと。

・What have you been doing?

・I’ve been predicting the races which were held here...

B. It's been raining for two hours.

この例の現在完了進行形では、how long, for そしてsinceなどを用いる。この活動はまだ起きているもしくは、ちょうど終わったところ。

・How long have you been watching the Green channel?

・I’ve been taking a picture of racehorses for three years.

繰り返し起きる行動でも用いる。

・My husband has been going to the JRA racecourses all over the country since he was a university student.

C. I am doingとI have been doingの比較

現在進行形

・We're waiting at the gate in front of the Tokyo racecourse.

現在完了進行形

・We’ve been waiting here until the Tokyo racecourse is opened.
