Long hair of restaurants and male staff
I work at a restaurant.
I work as an employee, but my boss warns me because my hair is long.
To prevent hair from getting mixed into food and drink, I put it in my hat.
But my boss warned me.
The company's rules say "clean hair", but it doesn't say "no long hair."
Of course, my hair is in my hat and I wash it when I take a bath, so it's clean.
I felt it was unfair for men to be careful when women's hair was long and they didn't pay attention even if it came out of their hats.
I can only pray that one day this injustice will be equal.
私はレストランで働いています。
社員として働いていますが、髪が長いので上司に注意されます。
食べ物や飲み物に髪の毛が混ざるのを防ぐため、帽子の中に入れています。
しかし、上司は私に警告しました。
会社の規則には「清潔な髪」と書かれていますが、「長髪禁止」とは書いていません。
もちろん帽子の中に髪の毛を入れているし、お風呂に入るときに洗うので清潔です。
女性の髪が長くて帽子から出ても気にしないのに、男性が気をつけるのは不公平だと感じました。
いつの日か、この不公平が平等になることを祈るばかりです。
