I like Paul Hogan.

This is really not a great film.

I will say the audio and video quality are outstanding, I just wish the script and acting was.

The whole production looks like a vehicle to trundle out some ageing actors for one last time and that is a little disturbing.

Of all the Paul Hogan Movies, and his character from his 1970's TV show, he was always playing the same character.

This is a very different Hogan movie where he is effectively playing himself.

If anyone watches this movie with an expectation of "Hoges" this is not it. It is a light hearted comedy with a good plot. The cameos add to the interest.

I won't add a spoiler, except to hint that this is a movie with a moral. Family is what counts more than anything else.

A tribute to Hogans original work! Little course and a bit edge, but never apologizing for what it is, which is a dose of humour that whether we like to admit it or not, makes us laugh.

It does an exceptional job at holding a mirror to the hypocrisy that is modern day television and stardom, especially in Hollywood and it provides a ironically save platform for big names to put their signature on a clear and deserved critique of a culture that would easily castrate them doing so in any other venue.

Smart writing that will rattle a few cages that deserve to be rattled.
