Balmy Tokyo!

The weather is amazing here! With reports of more and more snow being dumped throughout the US, it really makes me happy to be living in sunny and relatively warm Tokyo. First week of February and I was thinking about ditching the overcoat on the way into work. Of course, this can't last and I'm sure we will have a cold spell kick in at some point.

Speaking of cold spells - a trip to Hokkaido for some snow fun would be great. Recently had dinner with my host-brother. (I stayed with his family when I was an exchange student back in the day.) We're thinking a snowboarding trip might be in order.

I keep promising to upload some pictures. I'll promise this time again.

Happy New Year! The holiday break was amazing - two weeks off from work. Time spent traveling and eating my way through countries.

Lazy day

To say that I've been lazy about starting this blog would be an understatement. Established months ago, this page has remained pristine. Perfect. It is not without a bit of guilt that I start writing here.

Guilt without consequence. Only an obligation to the promise that I've made to myself.
