Blood.

My friend had to go to hospital today.
We were in the dnace studio, at the beginning of a dance lesson and one of the huge mirrors fell of the wall and smashed on the floor, it hit Maneesha's leg and took all the skin of it and she had lots of glass in her foot. I had glass all over me. ¬_¬ She had to go in a wheelchair in an ambulance to hospital! The dance studio is now out of bounds. The mirrors were only glued onto the wall, they should have been screwed on. There was lots of blood and it's scary to think that if Megan hadn't told her to move it would of hit her on the head. It's creepy. I was standing near the mirror and if Kyra hadn't of called me over, it would of hit me too... it's a scary thought...

I unearthed a book, well, my Mum did. It's a first edition of The Water-Babies. It's written in old English and it is quite a challenge to read. Some of the words used are words that I have never heard before. Lots of 'thee's and 'thou's and 'hast's. The grammer is use in a quite different way! I manage to read it though, It is interest to know the English language has evolved over time. I must say though, I really hate text-type. E.g, 'gr8' and 'Wubu2'. I don't understand any of it. >.< I suppose, I am quite backwards in that way, wanting to preserve the language instead of making it evolve.
For example '"Thou come along," said Grimes ; "what dost want with washing thyself?"'
This is one of the simpler sentences but it uses words I have never used and will not use. I think it means ' You come along and why do you want to wash yourself?
I am not 100% sure though, this is something I have not covered at school yet. I think we will when we do Shakespeare.
