If there's one thing I've accumulated a lot of as a gamer living in Japan, it's junk. And by "junk," I mean volumes and volumes of awesome: strategy guides, art books, magazines, preorder bonuses, CD liner notes... Much--maybe even most--of this material was published long before the jaws of the Internet began chewing to pieces every last thing the Japanese gaming industry had to say.
And so, for the good of humankind, I've decided to sift through all this material and present the best of what I find, translated into English.
What I won't be doing is sensationalizing. I won't be posting quotes out of context, or ones that make folks look bad. The point, if I have one, is to provide a window back onto our gaming heritage and show something that we were all too young or too not-Japanese-speaking to appreciate 10, 15, 20 years ago. Enjoy.
