今月生まれて初めて明治神宮に行って来ました
This month for the first time in my life, I payed a visit to the Meiji Shrine
明治神宮は日本一の参拝者を誇る、日本有数の神社で、明治天皇とその后である昭憲皇太后を祭神としており、大正９年（１９２０年）に創建されました。
The shrine is one of the largest Shinto religion building that prides itself of having the most visitors among other shrines in Japan. The structure was built in 1920, and is dedicated to the divine souls of Emperor Meiji (1852-1912) and his consort Empress Shoken (1849-1914).
この日は国内外からの参拝者が多かったので、最初の鳥居のある場所は賑やかでした。
As there were many worshippers from home and abroad this day, the place where the first torii archway is loacted was crowded with people.
自然が豊かな場所なので、鳥のさえずり以外に小川の流れる音も聞くことができます。ヒーリングには理想的な環境です。
This facility is richly endowed with nature; so, including the whispering of the birds, the murmuring of a streaming can be also heard. It is an ideal place for healing.

最初に三つの厳しい掟を記した掲示板が筆者を迎えてくれました。（写真を撮っただけなので、それらがなんなのかは読んでいませんが。（笑））
Before entering the shrine, the writer was greeted by a noticeboard. Three unassailable rules were written on this piece of wood. (But my objective was solely to shoot this, so I didn't read what was on the board. LOL)
明治神宮の敷地内にはこの他にも特筆すべき施設が様々あるので、近くまで来る機会があったら是非訪れてみてください。：）
There are still many spots that are worthy of note inside the Meiji Shrine that I didn't have chance to take a look at. So if you have chance to visit near the shrine, I highly recommend you to go.:)

ふと上を見上げてみると森の中です。癒されます。

横へ少し目をやると、小川が流れていました。自然のＢＧＭがまだ耳に焼き付いています。

そして参拝会場の本当の入口ともいえる大鳥居を潜っていざ参拝です！（このあとにもう一つ鳥居があるんだけどね。（激笑））

これは手水舎です。参拝の前はきちんと手と口を清めましょうね。
This is chozuya, washing station of Shinto. You need to cleanse your hands and mouth with the ladle before you pay homage to the Gods.

そしてここは本殿内です。参拝をすませたあと撮りました。（本殿西側）

前の写真と同様ここは本殿内の西側です。西参道から来る人たちはここを使用します。
This one is also the west side, same with the previous picture. The visitors who enters the facility from the west use this gate.明治神宮の敷地内にはこの他にも特筆すべき施設が様々あるので、近くまで来る機会があったら是非訪れてみてください。：）
