On September 10, at Columbus Crew Stadium in Ohio, the U.S. beat Mexico 2-0 and clinched its place in the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
The MNT makes its seventh straight World Cup appearance since 1990 thanks to the two goals scored by Eddie Johnson and Landon Donovan.
The team was able to qualify because of the incessant efforts of the players, the coach and the staffs plus the painstaking support of the fans who never questioned about the team's qualification.
