読者のみなさま (Dear my readers:)

連日好評の動画シリーズを今日もアップします。本日の予告動画は、日本でも話題をさらった『J・エドガー』です

(I will update movie trailer today too. The one I will be presenting to you is J. Edgar, a movie that caught many public attentions in Japan)

(I upped the transcription on August 4, but as there were many typographical errors and omissions, I deleted it and spent time correcting it. So, please take a look at the transcription with the tralier; and of course, it will be beneficial if you also read my previous writing, "Method to master how to speak another languages in a short period of time."(8/4)

Transcript

J. Edgar Hoover: When morals decline and good men do nothing, evil flourishes. A society unwilling to learn from the past is doomed. We must never forget our history. We must never lower our guard.

Anna Marie Hoover: Edgar, you will rise with the most powerful man in the country.

J. Edgar Hoover: It is my belief that when a man becomes a part of this bureau, he must so conduct himself, as to eliminate even the slightest possibility of criticism as to his conduct.

J. Edgar Hoover: Mr. Tolson, I need someone who I can trust. I want you to be my number two man: Do you understand? I need you.

J. Edgar Hoover: Imagine if every citizen in this country were uniquely identifiable by the pattern on their fingers. Imagine how quickly we could find them if they committed a crime.

J. Edgar Hoover: You remeber that file we created on his wife?

Helen Gandy: Mrs. Roosevelt?

J. Edgar Hoover: Will you make a copy for me please?

Clyde Tolson: Is that legal?

J. Edgar Hoover: Sometimes you need to bend the rules a little in order to keep your country safe.

Robert Kennedy: Please leave the transcripts here with me.

J. Edgar Hoover: You're free and share them with your brother, Mr. Kennedy. Let him know that I have a copy of my own.

J. Edgar Hoover: The President is afraid.

A hostess of a club: All the admiration in the world can't fill the spot where love goes.

Anna Marie Hoover: We are sinners, Edgar. We tolerated lawlessness in the land until it grew to diabolical proportions, and the blood is on your hands, Edgar.

Senator McKellar: What are your exact qualifications for your position of leadership in this bureau?

J. Edgar Hoover: My qualification, sir?

J. Edgar Hoover: I don't know who I can trust anymore.

Clyde Tolson: I see right through you. You're scared, heartless, horrible little man.

Anna Marie Hoover: Don't wilt like a little flower. Be strong.

J. Edgar Hoover: Yes mother.

J. Edgar Hoover: It's time this generation learn the difference between villain and hero. Even great men can be corrupted.
