Do you believe in beginner's luck?

My dream finally came true. I took my SLR underwater for the first time on May 31, 2006 at Yap island. I remember it was very challenging for me coz, I was a beginner both in Scuba diving and Photo shooting at that timing. I don't quite remember how I managed, but I got it!

This is a Manta ray, which is one of the largest rays in the world.

My very 1st shot

This is my very 1st shot using an SLR camera in May 2006.

When I was training for Scuba Diving, I saw such a beautiful underwater world and I really wanted to take photos! Returning home, I found myself still thinking continuously... about which camera should I buy.

I didn't have any SLR experience, but I felt that SLR would be better than a digital camera if I wanted to take good photos. So, I decided to buy a SLR camera.

I ran to the camera shop and bought a SLR camera. I pressed the shutter of my new camera in the parking lot of the Camera shop, coz I couldn't wait until I got home!
