About me

I am excited to start a new blog! As you see its title, this blog will be about my English study and job related English stories, such as new technical terms, usefule expressions in communicating with my American bosses and coworkers, and lovely phrases from my love and friends in my private life. I might sometimes whine about something though. But I'd like to keep this diary in ENGLISH only as much as I can.

A few weeks ago, I started a new job as a secretary for American supervisors in some division on US company. My tasks are wide ranging; secretary and administrative duties, interpreter, translator, liaison between American and Japanese workers.... There are so many things to learn everyday that I always wish I could have two brains or super memory.

Under such a new work environment, I would like to work toward my objectives

TOEIC 970 by December 2008 (the latest score 935)

Eiken STEP test 1st grade by January 2009

To get more fluent and natural in daily English conversation

To reach those goals, I will make it a rule to study three hours everyday after work, watch only American TV, keep playing English CDs or Radio when driving, keep diary in English and of course try to speak to people without being afraid of makin mistakes.
