真鍮
地衣類をモチーフにしたイヤカフにも指輪にもなるタイプです。
樹の幹や古い石垣に、ふわりと黄色い苔のようなものがついているのを見かけたことがあるかもしれません。
けれど、あれは苔ではありません。
菌類と藻類がひとつの生命体として共生する、
静かな地衣類なのです。
その中でもロウソクゴケは、
淡いレモン色の小さな裂片が重なり合うように広がり、都市の喧騒の中でもそっと息づいています。
そのやわらかな黄色は、ウスニン酸という地衣類特有の成分によるもの。
外界の刺激や菌から身を守るために生まれた、
かすかな防御の光ともいえる色です。
強さを誇示するのではなく、
ただ静かに、必要なものだけを退けながら生きていく。
その姿は、どこか人の心にも似ています。

This piece is a lichen‑inspired accessory that can be worn either as an ear cuff or as a ring.
You may have seen something like a soft yellow moss clinging to tree trunks or old stone walls.
But it is not moss.
It is a quiet lichen —
a single lifeform born from the symbiosis of fungi and algae.
Among them, Candelaria (the candle‑wax lichen) spreads in small, pale lemon‑colored lobes that overlap gently, breathing softly even in the midst of the city’s noise.
Its delicate yellow hue comes from usnic acid, a substance unique to many lichens.
It is a faint protective light, formed to shield the organism from microbes and the harshness of the outside world.
It does not display its strength loudly;
it simply repels what is unnecessary,
and continues to live with quiet resilience.
In that way, it resembles the human heart.
