藤井竹外 (1807-1866) の漢詩をみつけた
筆ペンですらすらと
漢字に返り点に
細かな文字を綴っていた祖母
詩吟を聴きながら
祖母の吟じていた景色に
はじめて触れた
しなやかに美しく
たくさんの愛情をくれた祖母
晩年はアルツハイマー型痴呆症を患った
祖母と、もっと話がしたかった

Chinese poem in grandma’s notebook
I have found a Chinese poem in my grandma’s notebook.
Hearing recitation of the poem, I am exposed to the beautiful calligraphy, sound and scenery that my grandma used to appreciate.
She was well-educated, elegant and modest woman.
She spread happiness without someone seeing.
She gave me lots of love.
It is sad that she suffered from dementia in her later years.
I really wanted to talk to her more.
