To Di For’ podcast host Kinsey Schofield says Donald Trump’s state visit to the United Kingdom will be a “nice, friendly visit”. US President Donald Trump has accepted an invitation for a state visit from King Charles III. UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer presented the invitation to Trump while he was visiting the White House. “The British royal family has historically been instrumental in maintaining and strengthening the close ties between the United States and the United Kingdom,” Ms Schofield told Sky News Digital Presenter Gabriella Power. “It helps that the Trump family is especially fond of the British royals. “I think it will be a nice, friendly visit.”
