while at work today, my sister told me to watch "Life in a Day" for her since she gets off late from school.
finish dinner right at 8pm and made it just in time to watch it: "Life in a Day"
basically on July 24th, youtube had posted up a project asking people to submit their video of their day on July 24th. The videos will all be on youtube for viewing, some will then be selected to be made into a movie. and that is excatly what I watched today. the movie made it to Sundance, and viewers would be able to livestreeam the premier of "life in a day".
out of the 80K+ videos uploaded, they selected 15 main videos for the movies (throughout the movies, there would be small clips of other videos).
when I was watching it, I keep getting cold shivers thinking of how this is someone else's actual life and not a scripted scene.
I had a few chuckles while watching, and also a few tears, which were totally unexpected.
there's a few disturbing scenes (including birth and death
)
and also a few random scenes.
but overall the movie was like an Indie movie. don't take that as a negative sign,it's just b/c there were no "climax" to this whole story.
yet, the scenes were well cut, music was right at every moment, and the movie turned out great.
I might say it was one of the best movies I have watched
although the premier of this AWESOME movie has ended, but according to the youtube blog(http://youtube-global.blogspot.com/): "outside of the United States, you can catch a rebroadcast on Friday, January 28, at 7pm in your local time zone, captioned and subtitled in 25 additional languages, with an additional option for audio description (AD) in English."
