The third generation's true intention was not to "close with Sawagaya" but to "open with Kabuki", and I think the reason he entrusted Ennosuke to the fourth generation was for "mobility" rather than "blood". I read that when handing over the role of "Date no Juyaku", he added "Date no Ju is for you", but I can't remember whether it was Danjuro or Koshiro. It was definitely the fourth generation who described him as a "Tondenhei" pioneering Kabuki.

I'm from Nagoya, and I remember going to Kishiwada to see Kabuki about 20 years ago. I don't remember who it was, but I remembered the popular summer festival Naniwa Kagami. All that remains in my mind is that I passed by a watch shop and saw a pile of alarm clocks with the sound of a danjiri float, and I was so impressed that I thought, "Kishiwada is amazing!"

Just because the duo of Nizaemon and Tamasaburo performing at the Kabukiza is superb, I think it's uncool to say "Niza Tama" like the "Butatama" in okonomiyaki. I think it would be better to say "Tamaniza" and "Tama ni za", or "Sometimes Kabukiza", as these two great actors make Kabuki more accessible. Naming the revolution of Kabuki

During a break from serving eels, I was watching a classical music concert on NHK Educational TV in the staff waiting room. It was a collaboration between conductor Wolfgang Sawallisch, who worked on the opera "Woman Without a Shadow" directed by Ennosuke Ichikawa III, and the NHK Symphony Orchestra. Among the various staff of the commercial facility, the atmosphere of no one watching the classical music being played on TV was thrilling.

I was surprised to hear that Master Harunosuke's hobby is listening to BOφWY, and I'm the second person after Master Kashiwara Yoshie to know about a storyteller's musical preferences. Master Harunosuke uses Hallelujah as his intro, probably because of his name, but if you think about what kind of BOφWY song it would be, it would look good with a marionette. Master Shigoro from Nagoya used DA BA DA at Julie's bar.
