Valentine's Day

Yesterday was Valentine's Day. It's very different in Japan. Boys don't do anything! I was very surprised by this! 😲

In the US and many other countries, boys give presents to girls. For example, chocolates 🍫and flowers🌹. Of course, girls give presents to boys, too. Valentine's Day is usually for couples. There isn't many 友チョコ or 義理チョコ presents. There isn't White Day either.

Super Bowl 2013

Last Sunday was the Super Bowl in the US. It is American football's pro championship game 🏈

The Super Bowl is the biggest TV event in the US 📺 Many people have parties and watch the game. It also has good commercials. They're usually interesting.

This year's teams were the Baltimore Ravens vs. San Francisco 49ers. The coaches were brothers. That is so rare! I wanted San Francisco to win but they lost 😭
