I want to share with you some pictures I took during last weekend. I
attend to a culture exhibition at UANL World Wide Culture Center. This
time they was showing a brief exhibition about Japanese culture and it
was organized by Japanese - Mexican citizen asociation in our city.
This is thead: http://eventos.uanl.mx/poster_japones.jpg
There were some stands showing how to do "折り紙" (Origami) the art of folding paper to create figures.

Another stand was giving food samples. I've got an お握り (Onigiri, often called おむすび "omosubi). It was delicious! I put some soy sauce and voilá! yumi yumi

In another stand, a young married japanese man was playing with his kids with た"けとんぼ" a dargon fly made with bamboo. He gave me one!

In another stand, a very kind lady gave me a nice tissue folded as a shirt. I really like it! She was showing food decoration examples like this:

The next act was a Japanese fashion runway with some mexican and japanese enchange students showing japanese traditional clothing and the most popular fashion shown at Shibuya during last decades.

and then, a Self defense martial exhibition ^^

At the end of the show, the final act was a japanese folk dance called "ソーラン節" (So-ran bushi - The fisherman work song). It was amazing! ^___^v
