vTitanium Handle Kit for Benchmade 62- Stonewash V0.5
The V0.5 Titanium 62 Handle Kit was developed specifically for the Benchmade 6X balisong series. With these handles, we set out to solve two issues, the weight and length of the stock stainless steel handles.
We started by using 6AL-4V titanium material, reducing the overall weight significantly. We also extended the handles .5", bringing them to a total length of 5.5". Engineered to be a perfect fit, the V0.5 Handle Kit will turn your Benchmade 62 into the knife you always wanted it to be. *Knife not included.
- Weight of knife with installed titanium handles - 4.6 oz. (may vary depending on blade shape)
- Milled hole/fuller design with rounded ergonomic handles
- Beautiful stonewash finish for lasting durability
- Includes Flytanium embossed polishing cloth and high quality sticker
Installation of the handles require some basic tools and skill. You will need a high quality T6 and T8 torx bit to remove the screws and pivots. The pivots and screws are NOT easy to remove and require some force. Be sure to use a high quality set of torx screws that are in good condition. We recommend you start with the safe handle and then move on to the bite handle.

BM62のステンレススケールによる重すぎる重量と長さの問題を解決するために
チタニウムのスケールを開発し長さを0.5インチ延長したそうです
なんで伸ばしたんだろ？と思ってたら42と62ってハンドルの長さが違うんですね
並べて比較したことがなかったんで気づきませんでした（笑）
というわけで、42と同じサイズにしたってことなんでしょう
重量はノーマルの約180gから130ｇに軽量化されます
注意書きには
バラすには高品質の工具使ってねとか
かなり力いるし簡単じゃないよ大変だよとか
小さい部品なくさないでね
あとbenchmadeの保証は効かなくなるよ
とか書いてあります
うん、かっこいいですな
今出荷されてる製品はわかりませんが
前に書いた記事のようにピボット外すのは偉いこっちゃでした
自分の62は対処済みなだしノウハウあるので、すぐ換装できますが・・・
一般的な人はどうなんでしょ？
トルクスのねじ山つぶしちゃうとドリルで頭飛ばさないとバラせないし
飛ばしたら飛ばしたでネジとピボットを調達しないといけないし・・・
ロックタイトでがっちりになってないのを祈るだけですかね
