In 2005, Dragon Cvetkov formed his company, Fala Limited. This was the start of a journey to extend the life of used barcoding equipment and offer customers a range of repair services for devices OEMs no longer supported.
Since those early days of one man with a vision working from his kitchen, Fala Limited now has an extensive workshop with teams of expert repairs, production, and refurbishment engineers and is the UK’s largest holder of used barcoding equipment. Our stock consists of a vast range of mobile computers, PDAs, barcode scanners, charging solutions, batteries, printers, and accessories. Brands include Zebra, Motorola, Symbol, Datalogic, Honeywell and Psion.

Custom Rental Solutions:
We offer a rental service so there is no need to buy barcoding equipment that is only used during peak periods and stocktaking. We can advise on suitable devices compatible with your AIDC system and offer a flexible rental solution to suit your requirements. Rental agreements are flexible and can be extended at any time. For some businesses renting is the preferred AIDC option. So long as a device is not misused or damaged during the rental period, there are no repair costs. Sometimes budgets are tight and will not stretch to purchasing equipment. If a tech refresh is on the horizon, renting to replace faulty or poorly functioning equipment until AIDC decisions have been made, can be a solution.
Buyback:
You no longer need to feel pressured by OEMs into buying costly new equipment, simply because the OEM has stopped supporting the older, yet still fit-for-purpose equipment you already own. When you decide it is time for a tech refresh, through our buyback program, we can purchase your obsolete barcoding equipment to help offset the cost of upgrading your hardware.

Any device beyond economical repair will have all customer data destroyed and the device disposed of ethically in compliance with all legal requirements.
Solution Design Service:
Our solution design service helps you align your next AIDC solution to your business needs. For example, to ensure problem-free deployment of your AIDC system, we can configure your devices and conduct a site survey to ensure your wireless network matches your operational requirements. An Evolution of Expertise:
Over time, Fala Limited has developed its innovative refurbishment process, and since 2018 has provided over 150,000 refurbished units to the circular economy. Our most popular refurbished devices have been the MC92N0, TC57, CK3X, Skorpio X3 and Skorpio X4. During our refurbishment process, our engineers utilize used OEM parts wherever possible. If the original housing is suitable, our refurbishment team resurfaces the plastics to vastly improve cosmetic appearance. Typically, a refurbished device includes a new digitizer, keypad or overlay, upgraded operating system, customer-provided software, new hand strap and stylus. Mindful of the planet’s dwindling ore and mineral resources, as standard we ship refurbished devices with used & tested batteries. We also have a finishing touches team who thoroughly clean all orders before shipping. Once your order has progressed through our QC department, our shipping team ensures your goods are packed securely before they dispatch. Where we can, we reuse bubble wrap and paper-based packaging. At every stage of the sales process, our focus is on ensuring product quality and meeting customer expectations, while maximizing our support for the circular economy.
