3 hard working days
I didn't know that it would took us 3 whole days to completely paint the walls and the clean the entire condo.
I just thought it will be finish in just a day or 2 tops.
demo ne I forgot to take in the account that we have to completely cover the whole paintings and the drying period is kinda longer in a condo rather than in a house
I got blisters on both of my palms just to finish the repainting and I even broke the handle of the roller
My husband didn't work for 2 days coz he's already tired
but everything was worth it..

well that scooter was swapped originally for my laptop.
The owner doesn't need it because she has a new one already and I don't need my old laptop so we decided that we swap our laptop and her scooter.
Since the scooter was really in bad shape that we first thought of sending it to a professional mechanic to fix the engine but my husband insisted that he will work on it so we can save money too..
He fixed the engine perfectly even though it was his first time tinkering with a scooter engine. He always works with airplane engines so maybe he's familiar with the logic of some of it ahahaha
We both painted the fairing.
It's almost fix but we have one huge problem.. The electrical wiring!!!!
It's been cut off to pieces!!!!
My husband then decided to send it the a professional to do the wiring for us.. I asked a professional on how much it will cost us and sad to say it costs a lot.
While thinking that large sum of amount, I went to see the schematic diagram of the scooter. Since I know how to read it, I figure out that it's not that hard so I told my husband to park the scooter inside the condo unit so I can fix the wiring..
He was a bit skeptic at first because he knew that I never practiced my electrical skills after graduating from college. But I told him, there's nothing to worry about because if my wiring is wrong the first thing that will happen is that the fuse will be broken and if that happen he can send the scooter to a professional and I will be the one who will pay the fee.
So being convinced that I am really serious about it. He parked the scooter inside our condo. I worked at the wiring for almost 10 hours because I cleaned the whole wiring first because all of the insulations are coated with that black dirty thing.. I think it's carbon build up... So I cleaned it all up to see all the colors since it's color coded it will be easy for me to trace the wiring. I perfectly soldered all the wires and put some shrinker to insulate the exposed wire because of the soldered part.
We waited for a long time before the right day will come to test the scooter since it's been raining here almost everyday.
And that day came today!!!!
My husband started the scooter which was now outside the condo building, there he saw the headlights and taillights are working perfectly!!!!
Then some guys saw him with the scooter and told him that he really did a good job with the wiring and my husband proudly said "Oh it's not me who fixed the wiring, It was my wife". And those guys were shocked to know that it was me who fixed it.. ahahahah
When we are going to test now the signal lights, the rain poured again!!!!
So we have to wait until Saturday to test it again.
After my husband parked the scooter, he hugged me and said "If some wives can do the laundry, clean the house and cook... My wife can do those things and more..... I have one SUPER WIFE".. and he kissed me..

There are some tropical storms which landed in our country
and I'm quite afraid 'coz remember the last post that I made about the flood which entered our condo..

But there's a lil story behind the first storm that we had..

After packing all those things we went to the nearest mall there....
we went to Mall of Asia (MOA).
And there the rain fell so hard that it flooded the surrounding streets..
We were trapped inside the mall..
So what better thing to do...
To walk around that HUGE mall...
It's really big that we didn't even get bored ehehehe

Got a good news today...
I just woke up and doing the regular things that I do..
Then something just got into my mind..
If Deftones and 30 seconds to Mars are coming here, why won't Korn?
So I checked out their official tour site

Well back to the real world meaning .... my world
we just finished re-paining an old scooter...
It's a yamaha jog artistic 50cc
It's really in a bad shape.. The engine chokes, the fairing are not even properly fitted. There are no lights working. I guess the previous owner doesn't know how to take care of her scooter
But now, we fixed the engine already
we are done painting it using the ironman color theme (black, gold, and metallic red)
after that we will install the wiring before fitting all the repainted fairings...
My husband made a sticker for our lil scooter
and it's quite cute actually

Home Improvement??
Well being married could be easy or hard it depends on how you deal with it..
In our case it's not that hard but rather it's challenging
But we make it a point that we have fun in any task that we are about to do
like fixing the scooter, installing the AC, cleaning the whole house...
very tiring just thinking of it but it was so much fun doing it...
our next project is to repaint our condo's wall...
New beginning... new walls ahahahah
It's kinda messy coz we are in the middle of cleaning ahahaha
I will have to say goodbye now to my dad's painting though.. so sad
