1. Dynamite words
If you listened first album of Last May Jaguar, from the first notes you will realize that the new release is real reload. A synthesizer and various electronic effects were added to the band's musical arsenal. Good and driving start for the album. And a good mix of guitar and synthesizer. Good riffs and an interesting vocal part.
Yurica's voice changed too. For this album, various vocal filters were used. Yurica's voice became more electronic and softer. It's a little hard to get used to it. Yurica's voice became something like one more musical instrument. This voice is well combined with new music.
The first song is really very energetic. It's a great way to say "This is it, we're back!" New, young, modern and cool! ". The new member of the band really brought a lot of new things. If you love change and love something really new, this album will appeal to you from the first song.
Powerful drums and rhythm section. Good chorus. Good addition of electronic sound. And the beautiful strong voice of Yurica.
In this song I really like the solo section. "も し も し" it's a perfect combination of vocal and piano. It sounds really beautiful. A fine "hilarious" singing.
Very good start for the album.
2. Last Hope
This song is a classic Jaguar. Steep metal. Steep guitar riffs. An interesting combination of Yurica vocal and the male voice. In each song on this album, you can hear something new and interesting. Really good metal song. Powerful chorus. This song is what I love about this band. Remarkable energy. Very steep drums. Cool metal guitar and bass. And beautiful vocals.
A powerful solo section and a beautiful melodic solo. Interesting addition of electronic sound. My favorite song on this CD.
3. Reloaded
A beautiful intro. The new Jaguars album is their attempt to find themselves in the popular alternative music genre. This album is reminiscent of modern American bands. And at the same time it retains the unique sound of this band. Jaguar are really technical and professional musicians.
A beautiful combination of soft and powerful vocals. Beautiful musical instruments. Beautiful story. We can say that this title (reloaded) and these emotions, it's some kind of this band story. The band that really came back. Band returned in new guise. A new band with a wonderful sound.
This is a hymn. The anthem under which the band moves. And they definitely go ahead. To a new wonderful musical future. Discarding the chains. With new hope and new strength.
The strength of this album is a combination of electric guitar and keyboard instruments. This combination is really very melodic. Musical magic.
4. Because of me
This song is good for live performances in clubs. I like the guitar riff in the beginning. I love these rhythmic sound. Alternative picking and ragged rythm. Very beautiful chorus. I've always liked Yurica's "hysterical" energy. She always adds real fire to the songs. A real and formidable jaguar. It will always be one of my favorite Japanese bands. They really deserve attention. And this band is really unique.
Again a beautiful combination of pianos and vocal. This moment you want to listen again and again. The electric guitar, drums and bass guitar are perfectly added to the piano. Crazy and powerful energy. Everything sounds really cool and harmonic.
Beautiful ending and a beautiful song.
5. Do not forget that day
In the intro to this song there is something classical. Army drill rhythm. In this song, the bass guitar finally very well audible. Good rhythmic pattern. And a good fighting song. The whole album is recorded in a similar style, which makes the album truly solid. A long story about the return of the band. But each song has its own unique elements. In each song, we can find something new. And every song needs to be listened to again and again. To find each and the elements hidden in them. Interesting combinations of musical instruments and musical elements.
This album has a very beautiful CD cover and CD cover is very suitable for this album. Each song is really colorful. Each song is a fantasy world with many colors, elements and sounds. Colorful jungle with a million unique lives.
6. Love Bites (So Do I)
I think many people know this song. This is a good choice for cover. And this song is suitable for Jaguar. Jaguar add many interesting elements to this song. So this is really a good cover. To be honest, I do not like the effect that is used for Yurica's vocal. I love her clean vocals, so I want to listen to her natural vocals in every song. I would like to hear how the band performs this song in the live perfomance.
Cool guitar, bass and drums. Jaguar added even more drive to this drive song. Good and effective completion for CD. Good guitar solo and good energy.
I think this CD is the beginning for a new Last May Jaguar. I hope that now band will begin movement forward and release many new CDs.
Full of energy, ideas and inspiration. Choosing a new, more popular music genre. Band definitely opened new doors for themselves.
