let it go→そうゆうことにしておく(itを行かせておく＝ほっておくの意か。)
e.g.) 悩んでいる友達に対して、

※相手が大きな悩みを抱えているときに使う。
I can't let it go→(私はあきらめない)
You should let it go at that !(もうやめにした方がいいよ)
※let it go at that =let it go
