今日は虹を作る実験をやってみました
Today we did an experiment making a rainbow!
キッチンペーパーの両端を塗って、お水につけることによって徐々に色が滲んできて虹を作ることができるんです
We coloured both ends of a paper towel, put it in water to make it gradually soak to create a rainbow.
“滲む”ということがまだ分からない娘はとても不思議そうに見ていたのですが、虹ができると「すごーい！」と感動していました
My daughter still doesn’t understand the notion of “soak / smudge” so she looked at it mysteriously, but when it created a rainbow she looked fascinated and said “wow!”
用意するものは…
You need...
容器2つ
2 containers
水性ペン
non-permanent markers
キッチンペーパー
Paper towel
Cut a paper towel so it fits into your container, and colour both ends of the paper towel in a rainbow
Put water in both containers
Put the coloured paper towel into the containers
すると、だんだん色が滲んできて
It will gradually soak up water, and the colours will smudge
The rainbow will grow little by little
写真を撮るのが遅くなっちゃったのでちょっとヒタヒタになっちゃいましたが、しっかり虹ができました🌈
I was a bit late at taking a picture so it got a little too wet, but we were able to create a rainbow!
そして、サンキャッチャーですが…
As for the sun catchers...
型から剥がすときに少し失敗してしまい形が崩れてしまいましたが、しっかり窓にくっついてくれました
I wasn’t careful enough when I took it off the mold so it got out of shape, but it stuck really well to the window!
今日陽が出ていなかったのでサンキャッチャーの役目は果たせていませんが…😅笑
It wasn’t sunny today so it didn’t play it’s role as sun catchers, but...
