One is Safari on the Mac, protected by the Mac antivirus that's under test. The other three use the protection built into Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer.
When content settings from extensions are set regardless of default or not, that value is always used instead of content settings from per-site content setting by settings/content or page info bubble. It seems that content settings from extensions are managed separately from settings/content webui or page info bubble. This setting is enforced by an extension for mac. From the high level view, there are three way to change content settings set by shield extension. • (1) Implement CustomExtensionProvider::SetWebsiteSetting(.) • (2) Makes brave shield use user preference • (a) via chrome.send() (not sure it is possible) • (b) use new shields api that set content settings to pref(not by extension content settings store) About, I think it needs a lot of implementation or changing upstream code. I think that the main issue is there are two different content_settings are used.(They are stored separately in Preferences and Secure Preferences file in user data) Basically, editing isn't allowed when content settings are not set by user.
I just installed Parallels 5 the other day and it seems to have an abnormally high CPU usage, especially with a process called 'prl_vm_app.' It gets to the point where the computer runs very slow and very hot (according to iStat, CPU temp is reading 185 degrees F!). Got rid of Access Windows folder from Mac and Win 10 CPU usage 2% (yes two percent) at idle and MacOS Sierra CPU usage at 9.4%. That is a staggering difference. There really is a MAJOR defect in parallels 12 with the access windows folder from mac option.
