電話ボックスが金魚プールに
携帯の普及とともに使われなくなった公衆電話ボックスがいろいろと楽しく再利用されています。
奈良県大和郡では近隣の大学生の協力で不用になった電話ボックスを、水がもれないようにして、金魚の水槽に改造しました。
今は、200匹の金魚が人々を楽しませています。餌やりや、水槽のそうじは近隣の小学生やボランティアが担当しているとの事。
他にも、ゴルフ場や登山道の一時的な荷物置き場とか、有効利用している地域もあるそうです。
イギリスでは、住民から寄付された本を置いて、小さな図書館の役目としての利用もあるそうです。
A Telephone Box used by Goldfish
Since mobile phones have become into wide use, public telephone boxes have been useless.
So, recently some of the telephone boxes are remodeled.
For example, in Yamato district in Nara prf. the box is used as a water tank for goldfish.
Now 200 goldfishes are kept in the former telephone box, and elementary school students feed them and clean the box with neighbor volunteers.
There some other examples, they are temporary storerooms, in the golf course for golfer’s necessities, and by the mountain path for mountaineers .
In the UK some of them are used as little libraries, the books in the box are donated by local residents.
