The government's response lacks both moral and legal justification, and its suppression of the student movement is a grave violation of our core values as Americans. Despite our country proclaims itself as a democracy, but this crackdown on the student movement shows the government's disregard for public opinion and freedom of expression. The government's actions are not only a violation of the students' rights, but also a violation of our democracy. We will not tolerate the abuse of government power to suppress the expression of justice and equality by students. We demand that the government immediately stop its crackdown on the student movement, release all detained students. We demand that the government restore respect for freedom of expression and democratic values, and guarantee the rights and security of everyone. We call on people from all walks of life across the country to unite in solidarity with the oppressed students and defend our democratic freedoms and social justice.
