I'm so happy! I worked hard, but it's not completely over yet! The results have yet to come...

I really hope I made all advanced, or close...

Now, I can relax for the rest of the week!


Recently, something has really been bothering me. I have this close childhood friend, and he is moving away. Literally. His father found work in another city, and now he has to leave. This friend is someone who I've known for a long time. He doesn't have many friends because a lot of people think he is annoying. But, once you really get to know someone after spending a lot of time with them, you begin to see their other side. He had a more serious side, and was happy most of the time. He is very smart when it comes to science and math (opposite of me), and everyone admires him for that. At my school, when it is your last year, your entire grade votes for people under specific titles. The titles are thing like, "Best Singer", "Best Dancer", "Best Dancer", "Most Handsome Boy", "Quietest Person". For each category, you vote for a boy and a girl, so two people end up winning (except for categories like "Most Handsome Boy", and "Prettiest Girl"). I put this person for "Most Likely to Succeed" as my boy choice, and later when I asked people who they put for that, they all said this person. So despite this person having an annoying side, everyone admires him for his intelligence! I hope this person graduates knowing that, and not just knowing about how people were annoyed when he was obnoxious.

But I will be really grieved when he ends up moving.

科学テスト！

こんばんわ！

Today we took the science section of the state standardized tests. We've been taking the state tests for the past week, and so this week has been rather stressful. We took the English section on Monday, the math section on Tuesday. so today we took the Physical Science one! The last section, Social Studies, will be tomorrow, and for me, it'll probably be the easiest, so I won't study as hardly.

For me, the science test was probably the hardest, because I'm not very praisable when it comes to remembering science facts.

I've been studying very hardly, though! I want to make all advanced this year!


We played a math version of Jeopardy today in math. I was paired with my 後輩, and we ended up winning. I wasn't really doing any of the work, though... I was texting in the answers! So without my speedy gaming hands, we wouldn't have won! The game's elements were brains and speed!

I will practice Japanese, but the majority of this blog will be in English for now.
For a more clear introduction, my name is Anna, and I've started this blog to expand my knowledge of Japanese!

My main aspiration is to become a federal prosecutor, and bring more justice to this unjust world.

I plan to blog about my days, and attempt to improve my Japanese further!

For now, I'll give you a brief description of myself.

I am in my last year of middle school, and school is my top priority. I'm generally a serious person, so when something is my top priority, I value it very much. I want to work hard so that I can help society by using my talent.

On a less serious note, I enjoy playing tennis and learning new information. When I don't know something, I'm probably going to look it up. My favorite subjects in school are English and Social Studies, and I don't particularly dislike any subject, but I'm not very stellar at math.

I've been to Japan before, and I wish to return. Before I return, I want to become fluent in Japanese. I used to attend tutoring sessions with my friend, but she stopped coming, so I need to find a new tutor to continue my studies in the language! At school, I am enrolled in French, and have been taking it for the past three years. When I reach high school, I'm thinking about taking it for one more year, and then switching to Japanese completely. I would love to continue French, but learning two different languages alongside each other is very confusing, and I often get them mixed up!

My favorite foods are salads, soups, and cake, and my least favorite foods are eggs, mustard, and mayonnaise. The last two are condiments, but I despise them all the same.

One of the reasons I have started this blog is to assist me in my ダイト! I will track my progress here, like today, I didn't eat any snacks when I got home from school! I want to get down to 45 kilos!

My actual blogging will start tomorrow, and I promise I'll post pictures soon!

I'm sorry so much of this post is in English, but I would have never been able to write all this in Japanese. They will be mostly in English until I start studying Japanese with my tutor again!
