Dishes of New Year of our home in 2013 are like these.

I stuffed them in the 3 layers of tiered box.
Left: red and white KAMABOKO (steamed fish paste)
Right: DATEMAKI (rolled omelet mixed with fish paste).
In Japan, we use the color red and white for congratulation.
Left: KOBUMAKI (rolled kelp)
Upper right: KURIKINTON(sweet chestnuts)、Lower right: BLACK SOYBEANS
This is what we made yesterday!
