このブログでは海外生活での様子や進路、自分自身の過去について書いていければと思っています。
今日は私の住んでいる街について紹介したいと思います。
私の住んでいる所はユタ州にあるソルトレイクシティーから南に２時間ほど車を走らせたところにあります。ソルトレイクといえば宗教やオリンピックに馴染みがあると思います。街にはクラブやバーなどが一切無く山に囲まれた自然豊かなところです。walmart と小さなアイス屋さん、マクドナルド他に小さな飲食店以外にお店はありません(笑)
そんな場所にある大学を選んだ理由や学校生活、困難等みなさんにシェアできればと思います。
Hey, I’m Anin! I’ve been studying abroad in Utah since last summer.
On this blog, I’ll be sharing bits and pieces of my life here—what it’s like living overseas, some thoughts on my future, and even a little about my past.
Today, I wanted to introduce the town I live in. It’s about a two-hour drive south of Salt Lake City. When you hear “Salt Lake,” you probably think of religion or the Olympics, but my town is the complete opposite of a big city—no clubs, no bars, just mountains all around and lots of nature. Besides Walmart, a tiny ice cream shop, McDonald’s, and a few small restaurants, there’s really not much here (lol).
Still, I’m excited to share why I chose to go to university in a place like this, what my school life is like, and some of the ups and downs I’ve faced along the way.
