Doors in Europe

Overlooking the fact that this door is soo round and cute, doors in Europe always confused me.
If you have a handle it means you pull the door to open.
Here you have to push.
But every single time…
I always end up pulling the door really hard. (｀ε´)

Fast Food Drinks

This is a large Coke here in Germany.
This is hardly a small Coke here in America. (￣□￣;)!!

Cobblestone vs Heels

Universal rule that newcomers and tourists never foresee: Never, under any circumstance, wear heels on cobblestone. (￣＾￣)
I was observing this couple from above.
The girl was dressed very nice but she definitely was not having a good time.
Kaiserberg Nürnberg was on hilly terrain too.
So put a slope, cobblestone, and heels together and your feet and ankles will never forgive you.

Kaiserberg Nürnberg

Kaiserberg Nürnberg was a lot different than what I expected it to be.
I guess It's because I was comparing it to Hohensalzburg, which was the castle I explored in Austria.
Kaiserberg Nürnberg didn't really feel like a castle when you are inside, but when you look at the view, it reminds you where you are.











The overhead view of Nürnberg was different from Salzburg too.
I'm sure if I saw an overhead view of Munich, it be so different from both cities.
I love how different all these cities are from each other, even when they are only a couple hours away.

I was told the Lebkuchen is as Nürnberger as you can get, especially at Christmas time.
These were so sweet, but soo good! :*:・(￣∀￣)・:*:
I want to try a warm one next time.
I would like to visit Nürnberg again during Christmas.
I heard the Christmas market is something spectacular.

I got the Steinbock (Capricorn) Lebkuchen.

Good and Bad luck Ring

The iron fence around the Schöner Brunnen has two rings imbedded in it
a gold ring and a silver one.
You’re supposed to find both rings and choose the right ring to to turn.
If you choose the right one, good luck will be brought upon you.
If you choose the wrong one, then you will have bad luck.
They were soo hard to find, and to be honest I had a bit of help finding both (lots of tourists).
I am not going to tell you where they are or which one to turn.
Regardless of the help....

Opening and Closing hours

The opening and closing times are in military time. You don't see that often in the US. In fact, you don't see it at all.

カラオケの夜

It was a fun open-mic karaoke night!
Maria and I sang a lot. Benni's friends are a lot of fun!
Of course I drank too much and my ears turned red.
I also woke up to find that I apparently scraped my knee and I was internally bleeding on my right palm.
Last time I injured myself and didnt know it was when I had a second degree burn on my arm.
I didn't feel it until I woke up.

I had an opportunity to visit Benni’s school and meet his classmates and watch their final projects.
After that, we had BBQ!
I left the memory card on my computer, so I could not take any pictures ﾟ･ﾟ*･(ﾟOﾟ(☆○=(｀◇´*)o
BUT! We did do this:





It's called the Polar Panorama Effect
It's so cool!!! (゜д゜) (゜д゜) (゜д゜)
Basically everyone stands in a circle.
You leave the camera on this special tripod and it rotates 90 degrees and takes a picture with a specific lens.
Then you use this program to stitch all the images together and you get the result you see here!
