Renovating the Home of the Founders Parkway
The Founders Parkway is a favorite part of Las Vegas. Located between Southwestern Las Vegas and the Paris Las Vegas Boulevard, it's only a short distance to the world famous Las Vegas Strip. It's home to gorgeous scenery, but not only the Strip. There are many beautiful landscaping options along the Parkway, including a walkway comprised of planks of wood and paved walkways that lead to Castle Rock.
One of the interesting features of the Founders Parkway's paving is its comparison with other similar projects that have been completed in Las Vegas. The entrance of the parkway features a stone bench that is located among two pillars of stone. The bench, however, is rectangular instead of the traditional circular design like other parks found in Las Vegas. Concrete was used to create interesting patterns along the edges of the bench. Concrete patios are available in six distinct patterns.

Concrete tabs are among the concrete pavers used in the design. These concrete tabs have an identical design to the Las Vegas concrete patio. The concrete that is used to design the Castle Rock section of the paving is colored to help it blend in with the surrounding landscape. While at the same time, the coloration is subtle enough to ensure that the concrete is not a distraction from the natural beauty found in the region.
The three remaining concrete segments are constructed from large rocks. The large rock forms are colored to help the rocks stand out from concrete. In order to distinguish this section from the concrete surrounding the parkway The concrete used in this area is red. There are eleven colors that are used in the concrete design of the project. The Parkway feels like a completely separate environment than the rest of the area because the designers employed a variety of colors.

The replacement of concrete ramps and concrete sidewalks at ground level with granite pavers was another significant improvement made in the construction of CastleRock's section of the Las Vegas Strip. The distinctive color pattern of these granite pavers blends nicely into the surrounding landscape. Alongside providing aesthetic appeal as well, it makes it easier to walk on and gives the driveway a smoother feel when it rains.
Another alteration in the look of the Las Vegas Strip comes in the form of a covered walkway. The walkway covers the beach's exposed roots and prevents the residents from walking on the bare roots. The design allows rainwater that has collected in the ground to flow into sea, helping to keep the beach from becoming eroded. A concrete sealant isn't required because the concrete used to construct the walkway is already in the ground. Instead, the pavers are covered with a specific waterproof material which is resistant to heat and slip.
Castle Rock offers a great climate to live in. It has a semi-tropical climate with mild winters but warm summers. It is an ideal location to plant plants since the soil is sandy. The plant species are diverse, ranging from desert flowers desert grasses, shrubs, and evergreens. Furthermore, the land slopes towards the southern exposure of the Strip which leads to an environment that is cooler for homes in this region of the city.
The stone-lined picnic area at the near the eastern edge of the driveway provides residents with a view of Strip and a place for peace and relaxation. The stone bench has seating and lets you take a break from all the hustle and bustle on the casino floor. The bench is functional and visually appealing due to the stone used in its construction. The stones bring the outside to life whenever you sit down on the deck and enjoy lunch.
