day1 Novice commences pilgrimage

express-night-bus arrived at Nankai-Nanba terminal,Osaka.
6:00 .
Then take a bus bound for Tokushima.
I did stopover at North-Naruto bus-stop.
Grand-NARUTO-bridge
You can see there,Awaji-Island.
Walked the promenade under the bridge,
Watched the Whirling waves of NARUTO.
But at that time,
Unfortunately out of season.
The swirls were small.

Then I start to walk to NARUTO-Stn.
So fine day.
"SAKURA" (cherry blossoms) were in full bloom!!

Cycling road was calm.
So comfortable.
From NARUTO-Stn.to BANDO-Stn.
I took a train.
Here BANDO, HENRO-MICHI (pilgrim road) starts.
walked 600m from Bando,
arrived #1 Ryozen-ji Temple.
There were many rookie pilgrims,me too.
I bought "Byakue" (White vest of pilgrim)
and "Sugegasa" (sedge hat)
Then,walked 1.4km, #2 Gokuraku-ji temple.
It was 17:00
I must look for a place "sleep in the open"
it is economy.
But that day, I was slow of perception.
When I found a Sports-park,it was quite dark.
Tired
Very cold night, I wore all my clothes.
With a sleeping-bag and mat,
I slept under the eaves.

To Itano
Walked 10km
#1 Ryozen-ji temple
#2 Gokuraku-ji temple
